Birds of a Feather

I love the red birds - there are a lot of them out here (not sure exactly what they are though)

For the past few days we have been visited by a flock of birds in the morning. They come for breakfast I suppose. It was kind of weird the first morning they showed up...they would fly off & return a number of times. I got it on video, but I'm not sure if I will be able to post it.

Tanner & Amy

This is such a sweet picture of Tanner giving his mommy a kiss!

Playing in the Pool at Steve & Bernice's

My niece Amy and her son Tanner came up to visit one day and we all enjoyed the pool!

My view driving home from work everyday

Every day on my drive to work I have to remind myself to watch where I'm driving and not be distracted by the view, because it is so beautiful. Don't worry, Tom was driving while I took these pictures!

I love the way the oyster beds show during low tide...it provides such texture. At high tide it's a completely different view - which is beautiful, too.

Falling asleep with a good book

We are in the process of painting Will's room, so he camped out on our floor tonight. He didn't want me to read to him like I usually do - he just wanted me to read my own book and he would read his.

He quickly fell asleep and I couldn't help myself...I just had to get his picture!

He loves his Junie B. Jones books he got from Aunt Bernice & Uncle Steve for Christmas last year. He's read quite a few and he takes them to school in his backpack. I am glad he likes to read. He wants to finish all his Junie B. books and then finish the Magic Treehouse series - another favorite.

Hey Mom, he still has his dimples on his hands - see them?!

Headed out to see Mr. Bean's Holiday

I thought he looked so cute in this getup that I had to get pictures of him. He in turn thought he needed to run away from me because I had the camera!! But, I got him anyway.

About Me

My photo
I moved from California to South Carolina 2 1/2 years ago for my husband's job. We really like it here but miss the family and friends. My husband, Tom and I have a 8 1/2 year-old son named William.
