Open House

We decided to host an open house on Christmas Day from 1p to 5 p. It was a lot of work, but lots of fun, too. We ended up having 38 people come by - not at the same time, of course, but throughout the day. It was the first time we had ever had a party at our place and I think it worked out pretty well. Coco just did not know what to make of this crazy day...what with the presents and all those people there.

I had to keep running around da backyard and barking. I eben had to climb up on the patio table. Don't git me wong, dat was fun, but hey, git weal! After all da peeps left, an dey finawee let me in, dere was a lot of free food on the table. Wen my so called famwee wasn't lookin, I took da hole spinich dip in da back yard and enjoyed myself!!! hahahaha Dat will teach dem. Dey are so not going to git pwesents from me next year!" Coco ranted.

Christmas Eve

Just before we went to the Christmas Eve service at church...Will was waiting patiently (almost) for Christmas to get here!

Will's injury

I wanted to show you what Will looks like tonight. He fell at school and landed on his face - he broke his front teeth (he just got them in, too!) The broken parts of the teeth got lodged into his upper lip and they had to get multiple pieces of the teeth out of his lips. One of the teeth made a clean break and it is possible that they will be able to rebuild it when we see the dentist on Friday. He will be hurting for quite a while, but he sure did great at the dentist and also immediately after it happened. The teacher, the nurse and the dentist all were amazed at how calm he was and how well he did.

We had to wake Will up a while ago to give him his medicine and he just kept saying 'I don't like this!!!'

Tom and Will are taking guitar lessons together each Friday night...Tom is the only one that gets into practicing!

I Wonder...

what I will get for Christmas. Most every seven year-old kid in America at least always contemplates this question. Sometimes it just makes you tired!

Dancing With Hairspray

On Saturday, we watched Hairspray - which we all completely enjoyed. Will loved it. When there is music in a movie, he ends up dancing through a lot of it. So I took some pictures!

We watched Grease! after this so Will could see what John Travolta really looked like - at least how he looked about 30 years ago!
