Turkey Trot

We all volunteered at the 19th annual Turkey Trot through the Hilton Head Plantation on Thanksgiving morning. Members of our church volunteer for the Island Recreation Center at 4 of thier events and the chuch makes money.

We got there at 6:30 am and helped direct the walkers and kids to where they needed to go. This was the first year they did a kid's 1 mile race and they made a rather large mistake. The course was actually 2.5 miles!!! No wonder the kids were exhausted - going 1.5 miles more than they thought they were going to do! And we all got cool t-shirts, too!

It was fun though - and about 30 degrees warmer than last year when I volunteered!

This is at the Mall in Beaufort - I like the way they keep ponds and lagoons around everywhere... makes things much more interesting.

Halloween

Will was a Ninja this year - he went around the neighborhood with his friends Bridget and Jack. They all had a great time.

These people go all out every year for Halloween. I always wonder where they find room to store everything!

Perfect day for a Beach Wedding!

These are some people I work with - Linda is the bank manager, her daughter Rachel, a customer Phil, Chris, Ann & Pam.



I plan to come back to the beach again soon - I would have never known it was there. Clearly I need to get out more and go on some adventures!!!

A Beach Wedding

Linda, one of the tellers at work got married on Saturday at a beautiful beach I hadn't been to before. The weather was overcast, but comfortable and nice. She looked beautiful.

More Halloween Fun

The kids did crafts and worked on pumpkins. Will invited a couple of his friends from school and they both seemed to have a great time.

Halloween Party

I'm on the 'Fun'raising Committee at church and we hosted a Halloween Party last night. We were only expecting about 40 and we got over 80 people that attended. Everyone had a great time and the church made some money, too!

He Is Not a Baby Anymore!!!

While attending the Halloween Party last night, Will snuck into the crib in the nursery. I still remember when he was almost too little to be in a crib!! They grow up so fast!

It was a beautiful house

So many memories there...good and bad. Such a big part of our lives were spent there and I will always remember its beauty. Thanks for letting me share these with you.
