Oysters, Oysters Everywhere!!

Oysters are the 'Thing' here. In the Fall Oyster Roasts and 'Lowcountry Boils' abound. I just haven't gotten into this yet!

A very old restaurant in Bluffton - right on the May River - this is about 5 minutes from our house and it's about a block away from the Church of The Cross that I've posted pictures of a number of times.

Will's Room

Can't remember if I've ever posted pics of Will's room before. We painted it just over a year ago - thought it was cool to do it like a Pokeball because he was so into Pokemon. Of course, shortly after painting it this way, it was announced that Will is no longer into Pokemon. He would like it to be blue, like an ocean. We quickly reminded him that his was room WAS blue before we painted it!!! Oh Well, what you gonna do?

Will likes to draw and then frame the ones he likes the best. They change from time to time.

Santa Brought Will a Basketball Hoop

We are waiting for the Property Owners Association to send us a nasty letter, with a picture of the hoop and tell us that we need to remove it from the front yard!!! Hasn't happened yet, but it will!

Christmas Day & Open House

We had our 2nd annual Christmas Day Open House - it was nice, but we only had about 20 people this year - last year we had about 45. It's a lot of work, but it makes us feel like we have some family around during the holiday. Sometimes, though, I just want to leave all the wrapping paper around, stay in my pajamas and just relax and enjoy!

Christmas Eve

It was pretty warm Christmas Eve, so after the service at church, we lit a fire in the fire pit, sat by the pond and relaxed. This is one night I really miss not having a fireplace!

I've been sick and haven't been wanting to keep up with the blog. I'm feeling better now and I have some time, so I am posting a few pics taken during the holidays.
