While we were making S'mores Will and I noticed a beetle or a cockroach crawling through the leaves - I decided to take a picture of it and was surprised at the result. When the picture came out it showed that the bug was being attacked by this large spider!!! It was amazing...neither Will nor I ever saw the spider until the photo came out. We caught a few pics of this and then decided to let nature have it's way. It was a very large spider, that's for sure. Kind of gave me the creeps - and the crawlies!

Ooh. Yucky. The little red leaf below the critters looks like a pool of blood. Makes you wonder what lurks under your feet as you walk around only paying attention to what lies ahead. Great photos!
