I drive home from work. The commute to work is about 15-20 minutes with no traffic and 40 - 1 hour with an accident on the bridge. For the most part it is pretty smooth sailing. I took these shots while I was coming home the other day. I like how the water comes up almost even with the road when the tide is in. I know Mom wouldn't like this, but I enjoy the beauty of it. I wish there was an observation area by the bridge so I can get some better shots, but these will have to do! There are also those special days when I get to see the dolphins jumping as I'm going to work. That makes me glad that I live here!!! I wish some of you guys could come out to see where we live!

Well, you know I'd love to see that area...but I just won't fly! If Ken and I ever had the time and the money to have a driving vacation...you bet we'd be there.
By the way, should you be taking pictures while driving your car? hahaha...BE CAREFUL!!!
Me, too, CM. I have always said I would love to head east through the Gulf states, check out part of Florida, then head north along the Atlantic coast to New England. I would also like to see Kentucky, one state that has always sounded beautiful to me. A lot of posters on my eq site are from North Carolina and they talk of its beauty. I don't know if that will ever happen, but boy, I would love it if we could actually do it. You need one of us to witness your environment. It brings a sense of peace and acknowledgement.
