On The Drive to Asheville, NC

These were taken April 25th this year, I just never got around to posting them. We drove to Asheville for a conference for Tom. It was a beautiful drive - took about 4-5 hours. We passed the time listening to books on tape - The Howl-a-day Inn, if I remember correctly. Books on tape are wonderful!
I just missed getting the 'North Carolina' sign. Oh Well. It sure was wonderful to see the mountains again. The mountains here - on a good day - are about 4,500 ft! Kind of a hill back home, but beautiful just the same.

These shots are beautiful, as the drive must have been too! We have mountains on the Central Coast that look like hills to me. When I stopped by Sandy's on my way home, I'm always amazed at those mountains! Those are REAL mountains...haha.
