About Me
- Rebecca
- I moved from California to South Carolina 2 1/2 years ago for my husband's job. We really like it here but miss the family and friends. My husband, Tom and I have a 8 1/2 year-old son named William.

I'm really enjoying your sketches and I see improvement in each new one you post! Keep it up. Wish you lived close and we could have an art sleep over...
An art sleep over sounds good!!! Maybe next time I'm out there we will have more than half an evening!
Thanks for your comments, I appreciate it :-). I have to remember that I just started doing this, so I'm not going to be as good as you and Laura! It's just fun trying new things. Plus, doing ones of my family makes me feel closer to them. Thanks again.
Every sketch you do, you will improve bit by bit.. It is great practice to just start sketching and that's how Laura and I got started. I can't encourage you enough to keep it up because it's very centering, balancing and ....well ...it's just fun!
I know what you mean about feeling closer. As time goes by, when you sketch and really get into the eyes of a person, the soul, you will feel closer and closer... you will "feel" them near you too, when you are drawing them.
Ditto all that Sandy said! I'm imipressed by your improvement so quickly! It's almost like a meditation for me when I'm sketching...I do hope you enjoy it enough to keep at it.
