Hanna Update

Well, it appears that the storm may be tracking a bit north of us. However, they are still advising our area that we can still get some severe wind and rain and that it may change course again. They have not issued an evacuation and I don't really think that it will happen anymore. School will be in session tomorrow, but may be closed on Friday.

I am still hoping that we will either be closed on Friday or at least close early.

Here is a link to our local paper if anyone is interested in the stories they are running about Hanna - http://www.islandpacket.com/

If I hear anymore, I will let you all know. It was a beautiful day here - high 80s and relatively low humidity (for here, anyway). I think I will bring my camera and go on a field trip to the beach tomorrow to check things out!

Thanks for the update, honey. I hope it misses you, too, or at least the worst of it. Wouldn't hurt to have Friday off now, would it? Sorry I didn't call tonight. Since you didn't either I figured you had stuff to do. Wrapping you guys in warm hugs!

I'm following this one on the weather channel...keeping my fingers crossed (and my toes) that you having nothing more than some rain and a wind that is not destructive!
